The speakeasy theme just got real.
We've moved the party to a secret location. Tickets are now $25, but you won't know where you're going until Friday night.
DJ Nomadik hosts our special night of speakeasy fun, complete with live jazz, poetry, and a signature drink straight from Al Capone's Chicago (courtesy of Brother Cleve and Four Roses Bourbon). Bonus: all comers will be in the party scene of a new music video being taped during the event! Bring cash for the bar and our BIG RAFFLE (click here for the prize catalogue).
Choose your seating: 7pm, 8:15pm or 9:30pm (single seating, no re-entry). Or, buy a "Greedy Gus Special" and stay all night (come and go as you please). Entertainment varies with each seating. Here's the line-up:
- 7:00pm Roxbury Set: Dennison Blackett Quartet featuring vocalist Casandra Scarlett
- 8:15pm Chicago Set; Ms. (Allyssa) Jones live performance & video shoot, featuring a dance lesson by Mz. Rhythm.
- 9:30pm Harlem Set: Songs & Words featuring music and poetry from The Puppet Show & Ain't Misbehavin'
Location and password will be sent in a follow-up email after purchase. For pre-planning, the party is still in Jamaica Plain and walking distance from the orange line.
