Bring your questions. Bring best practices to share. Together, we will explore both with an eye on setting ourselves up well for September. Participants will work as a group to resource those who need support in specific areas, and to try out new strategies and successful practices. The objective is for participants to create a clear structure for their plans for the upcoming school year. All will leave with a library of lessons, strategies and resources to bolster their work. Come create something truly useful for your practice!
This two-day retreat is designed for public school music educators and music supervisors. Schedule is Mon 8/10 - Tue 8/11 (Mon/Tue); 10am – 3pm. Tuition includes meals and materials. All participants will receive a certificate of completion. Facilitated by Allyssa Jones (M.M. Music Ed.), Program Direrctor for Performing Arts, Boston Public Schools.
